Roots and Wings
This exhibition brings together Turkish-Canadian contemporary artists whose practices reflect the richness of memory and the courage of innovation. Through painting, collage,sculpture, and mixed media, the works explore how belonging and freedom can coexist — how one’s roots do not restrain but rather nourish the wings of creative expression.
Coinciding with Republic Day, Roots and Wings also celebrates shared values of heritage, freedom, and creativity. It is an invitation for viewers to reflect on their own journeys, to reconnect with where they come from, and to open their wings toward future possibilities.

Turkish Bazaar
Turkish Bazaar by Ankara Library of Toronto, a unique and colourful event returning to Dignam Gallery at Women’s Art Association of Canada on the last weekend of November 2025. Featuring more than 20 artists, the Bazaar will showcase exquisite paintings, handcrafted items, and unique finds with an Anatolian flair, adding a touch of magic to your lives.

The Stories We Share is an empowering creative writing program by MUSE Arts, specifically designed for immigrant, newcomer, and refugee women living in Toronto. Since 2019, this program has provided a safe and inclusive space for women to share their personal stories of migration and the immigrant experience through poetry and creative writing.
